Rimbey Community Home Help Services (RCHHS) has delivered Home Care Services in the Town of Rimbey and the west half of Ponoka County for 42 years and continues to grow and expand.
On Oct. 1, 2023, RCHHS secured a seven-year agreement, with a possible additional three-year extension, with Alberta Health Services as a Contracted Service Provider to continue delivering Home Care within the Town of Rimbey, Town of Bentley and west half of Ponoka County.
On June 17, 2024, RCHHS Home Care boundaries once again expanded to include the west part of Wetaskiwin County and parts of Brazeau County at the request of Alberta Health Services due to the closure of the Winfield Community Health Centre.
The transition of client care for all expanded sites was done successfully due to the great partnerships and communication between the Home Care Offices of; Lacombe, Drayton Valley, Winfield and Rimbey; Ponoka FCSS; West Pine Lodge and Rimbey Community Home Help Services.
